This website is dedicated to the memory of Mícheál Ó Domhnaill who died tragically on July 7th 2006.
Mícheál's tragic and sudden death deprived the world of Irish traditional music of a quiet hero.  
This site documents Mícheál's huge musical legacy as musician, singer, producer, composer, collector & arranger. 

 

 

Tribute CD released

featuring Mícheál and many of the people he played with over the years.

This commemorative album package contains 15 tracks and a 40 page booklet 
of lyrics, background info, reminiscences and photographs. It also features a previously unreleased recording of 'Lord Franklin' by The Bothy Band.
